Bags of Blessings – 9:00 to 11:00 am:

Location: Meet at Florida Hospital Church, Room 305
Bags of Blessings is an opportunity to create a gift bag as a special treat for someone in a difficult situation. Volunteers will assemble the bag using materials provided particularly for these individuals. After a bag is assembled, those who created the gift will take time to attach a private note and offer a prayer over the bag for the recipient. This is a wonderful opportunity for families (every group must contain at least one child).
Maximum Volunteers: 10 Family Groups
(Parent/child teams, children ages 4-12)

This is an essential ministry that supports parents of small children who would like to be able to participate in a service opportunity but need someone to care for their child, ages 0-3.

FHC Adult/Children’s Choir – 9:00 to 11:00 am:

Location: Meet at Florida Hospital Church, Worship Center
Do you enjoy singing? Do you enjoy sharing Jesus through song? Then this is the group for you! The Florida Hospital Church is working closely with Adventist Care Center-Courtland to organize an opportunity for group singing to their residents. Volunteers will meet at the church, warm up their voices, and then together go to the facility to sing!

Food Collection Team – 9:00 to 11:00 am:
Location: Meet at Florida Hospital Church, Room 205

Participate in a food drive to benefit Winter Park families. Those participating will be responsible for providing meals for a family. You may choose to purchase food items, canvas in a certain neighborhood, or contact your friends and family for donations. Bring items the day of Meet/Worship/Serve to box for families with the group of participants. List of food items to be collected will be provided by group leader.

Heart Walk – 5:00 – 9:00 am:

Location: Meet at Florida Hospital Ginsburg Tower Lobby
Florida Hospital is hosting a Heart Walk to raise awareness and raise money to fight heart disease. Volunteers will MEET AT FLORIDA HOSPITAL GINSBURG TOWER at 5:00 am. They will assist with parking, etc. If you sign up for this service opportunity, THIS IS A FIRM COMMITMENT, and they will be counting on you to arrive on time.
