Orlando Union Rescue Mission

Location: 1521 West Washington Street, Orlando, FL
Clean the grounds of Orlando Union Rescue Mission, a ministry that provides housing, education and counseling to families while introducing them to the love of Jesus. Participants will work with the Grounds Keeper to do general yard work. Bring gloves, yard tools, water, and be ready to work!

This team will photograph and video at the various service opportunities throughout the morning. Bring your own camera and/or camcorder. Help us capture the ministry moments of this event.

Project 25:35 – 9:00 to 11:00 am:
Leader: Doug Spinella
Location: Meet at Florida Hospital Church, Room 105
Homeless individuals can be seen all over the Orlando area. Project 25:35 ministry creates bags of food, beverage, and miscellaneous items to assist these individuals. This time will be spent filling freezer bags with items prepared for those who live on the streets of Orlando.
Maximum Volunteers: 20
(Individuals 13+, Families w/Children ages 7-12)
Project Drivers – 9:00 am to 11:00 am:

Location: Meet at Florida Hospital Church, Lobby
This team will provide a valuable service by being on call to transport individuals to various service opportunities.

(Licensed Drivers)
Refreshment Team – 10:00 am to 11:00 am:
Leader:
Location: Meet at Florida Hospital Church, Lobby
Serve the Servers! Be part of the group that provides a nice, cool beverage to those who have returned from their projects:

(Children may accompany their parent volunteers.)
