Troubleshooting Streaming Problems
We are sorry that you are having problems. There are a number of potential reasons why you may have a problem. Please try these troubleshooting steps to see if it fixes the problem. If you continue to have problems, please email us and give us the results of these steps.
Step 1) First try refreshing your browser. Try other websites to make sure that your internet is working properly.
Step 2) Do a speed test to see if there is a problem with your connection speed. You need at least 1000 kbps download speed to watch our stream. Please know that download speeds may fluctuate and are often the cause of intermittent problems. If you have connection problems, please contact your Internet Service Provider (such as Brighthouse).
Step 3) There are two ways of viewing our stream. You can watch it with the in-browser video player (requires Microsoft Silverlight) or watch through Windows Media Player (requires Windows Media Player version 6 or above). Try both methods to see if either one works. You can also try downloading updates for Silverlight or for Windows Media Player. If you are on a Mac, you may want to download Flip For Mac.
Step 4) Try to view live.forestlakechurch.org or live.deeperfaith.org to see if they work.
Step 5) Try using a different browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.)
