Children's Ministries
Birth-30 months: Step back into Bible land, visit the pyramids of Egypt, walk through Heaven’s gates, ride in a basket boat down the “Nile,” be one of the 5,000 fed by 3 loaves and 2 fish. Children ages birth through 24 months are given a visual and sensory introduction to the stories of the Bible that teach of God’s love and care for His children.
30-48 months: The children in the 2-3 year class move through hands-on, interactive learning stations, make crafts, listen to Bible stories, learn Bible verses along with BZ Puppet, and participate in activities at the nature center. The children meet “Woof” the dog each week as he tells a life application story that relates to the theme Bible story.
4-6/Kindergarten Class: When you enter this classroom, you see lots of smiles and laughter! Each week the children experience the Bible through fun, innovative learning station activities. They experience hands-on, interactive activities that encourage multi-sensory learning. Beginning with a praise time of music and singing, they then rotate through a craft station, nature corner, theme corner, and Bible corner.
Primary I Class (Grades 1 & 2): This class is run on a centers-based theme with a weekly craft corner, story corner, theme corner, and game corner. Parents are actively involved in staffing each station. A variety of mission projects are adopted throughout the year where the students learn about serving God and serving others who are in need.
Primary II Class (Grades 3 & 4): This is a class filled with Shining Stars for Jesus. These Stars are in their very own classroom game show each week. As a part of this game format, they answer Bible questions based on their lesson story. They also participate in a drama skit each week.
Junior Division (Grades 5 & 6): The Junior class is filled with kids who enjoy programming filled with music, interactive Bible stories, crafts and service projects. Each week starts with G.E.M. – greet, eat and meet – a 15 minute segment where tweens enjoy breakfast items such as fresh fruit, bagels, waffles, muffins, cinnamon rolls and yogurt and share what has happened in their lives the previous week. Themes are centered around social awareness and involvement from a biblical perspective. The class is also involved in community service projects where students learn the value of serving others.
